Step 1: Self-Assessment

Begin by rating yourself out of 10 in each of the following areas:

  • 🧠 Mental Health: Reflect on your emotional resilience, stress management, and sense of inner peace.
  • 👪 Family: Evaluate the quality of your relationships and connection with family members.
  • 👯 Friends: Think about your social life, support network, and friendships.
  • 💑 Romantic Relationship: Assess the health and satisfaction of your romantic partnership (if applicable).
  • 💼 Career: Consider your professional growth, fulfillment, and work-life balance.
  • 💰 Finance: Reflect on your financial stability, habits, and progress toward financial goals.
  • 📚 Learning: Evaluate your commitment to personal growth, skill development, and curiosity.
  • 🌍 Experiences: Think about the richness of your life experiences, adventures, and memories created.

Step 2: Reflection

Ask yourself:

  • Which area am I feeling satisfied with? Why?
  • Which area am I feeling dissatisfied with? What factors contribute to this feeling?

Take time to journal your thoughts. Be honest and compassionate with yourself.

Step 3: Visioning the Future

Now, imagine you’re having a celebratory dinner with a friend in a year’s time. For each area, describe what a 10 out of 10 would look like. Be as specific and vivid as possible:

  • What habits, achievements, or changes would make you feel proud?
  • What challenges did you overcome?
  • How do you feel in each area?

This vision serves as a guide for setting actionable goals and tracking progress throughout the year.
