“Always render more and better service than is expected of you, no matter what your task may be.” — Og Mandino

Always underpromise and overdeliver!

  • British Baker’s Dozen:
  • If you know how late you are going to be, add an extra 5-10 minutes to it. It might be annoying for the person/people when you say it initially, but when you come before the time you said, it will evoke a far more positive reaction than underestimating the lateness time.

  • Never make promises you can’t keep. Always deliver—preferably exceed—every commitment you make.
  • It’s far better to delight others with positive surprises than to leave them disappointed.
  • Consider the cost of keeping a promise before making it.
